CHERRY AVENUE RESIDENCE

Project Description: The land located in upper St. Andrew upper scale residential area was relatively flat with a robust guango tree at the front. The client immediately sought to maintain the guango tree, which provided excellent shade and special characteristics to the site. Our design sought to maintain traditional image, which introduced contemporary layout to the client’s brief. Upon entering the residence provides a dominant entry foyer which is double height increasing the residential prestige and grandeur to visitors which connected to the services on the left and the private spaces on the right. As well as opening out to the rear patio of the property which connected the living room to the entry foyer and the family room to the outdoor spaces. Within the services area is the helper’s rooms conveniently located at the rear of the property at a lower level, connected to the kitchen area which opens to the family room and games room connected to the formal dining room. On the same level, the living room, the guest room and the study were all clustered on the right of the main entry. At the upper level, all 3 bedrooms were connected to a central corridor. The building renovation took advantage of the southeast window as well as the northwest prevailing winds that were evident in the evening hours. Project Category:

BEVERLY DRIVE BEVERLY HILLS

Project Description: Truly a challenging site with a captivating view. As the view was an important determinant in the client’s decision to acquire this property, the design needed to maintain both the view and control of solar exposure. In determining the building’s orientation, the two prominent factors were the slope of the land and the direction of the view. We addressed the climactic conditions by including large (projecting) overhangs for sun control, and a linear plan to allow easy passage of air. Project Category:

Project Description: Developed on six acres of St. Andrews’ prime real estate, this multifamily development offers nine housing solutions within its boundaries, ranging from 2 and 3 bedroom apartments to the expansive 4 bedroom Royal Apartment. Large 3 and 4 bedroom town homes from 3,142 square feet to 3,450 square feet as well as private single family homes as large as 5,000 square feet, assures that a design option exists for the varying tastes of today’s homeowner. Norbrook Estates unique design achieves the maximum density while providing the contrast of openness with it’s unique central park, and achieves the close proximity of units demanded in such developments. Most homes enjoy the vista of the central park whose expanse is heightened with the inclusion of visitor parking along its boundaries. The development offers amenities such as a pool, tennis court, entertainment bar and deck areas within it’s park-like grounds. In summation, Norbrook Estates’ multifamily design is one that will not be easily matched. Project Category:
