While the firm was established in 1991, its principal, Michael Lake, had set the foundation of his career during the previous eight years working on a number of commercial landmark projects such as the Pavilion and First Caribbean International Bank’s head office in New Kingston.

In the decade that followed, the newly formed Michael Lake & Associates would extend its services to include all architectural requests, responding equally to projects in the corporate, retail and residential fields, while completing a fair medley of resort, industrial and interior projects.
